Abstract (en)
[origin: DE19636240A1] The invention relates to self-supporting masts, which support a wind power installation wherein one or several cross-heads can be placed beneath the wind power installation and conductor wires and guard wires can be hung from them or supported by them for the transmission of current to a middle-high or high voltage plane, whereby the wind power installation can be tipped at the foot of its mast or at the place of operation and placed in a position for transportation and/or shifted and whose rotary blades are brought together (parallel or along the rotational axis) in a transportable size corresponding to the space in the self-supporting mast, and the wind plant can be moved without being dismantled from the foot of the mast to the place of operation and also from the place of operation to the foot of the mast. The inventive solution is inexpensive since many parts of the transportation device do not have to remain on the mast and are brought to the respective mast only if necessary. Additional advantages arise as a result of dual use of the self-supporting masts and locations, whereby the wind power installation can be moved past the current leads located on the mast without touching them and disconnection of the current is no longer required.
