[origin: DE19639517A1] The invention concerns a fuel cell installation (30) with high temperature fuel cells. The fuel cells are rotationally symmetrically designed as cell elements (1). Combustion air as cathode gas (2a) inside on the cathode side (2) and fuel gas as anode gas (3a) outside on the anode side (3) is applied. Outside on the anode side the fuel cells come into full contact with a high-temperature stable conductive metal felt such as nickel felt (4) or the like, thus forming a voltage plane.
