Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0870610A1] The feed unit, draws bands of material into rotary printing machines. It includes a flexible, endless feed belt, its length exceeding the spacing between adjacent drive rollers. Rotationally-symmetrical bodies (5) are laid into the induction belt (2), which leads them on, whilst reducing the friction within a guide (1). The belt has in addition, a coating minimising friction with the guide.
