[origin: DE19701084A1] Printed sheets of material 12 are fed continuously through a housing that is arranged with two arrays of drying elements 24 on both sides. The drying elements 42 have ultra violet and/or infrared emitters and/or air heaters. Compressed air is supplied by a blower 46 via a pair of motor controlled throttle valves 44,48 and is directed 54 onto the surfaces to avoid any mechanical contact with the sheet.
