Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0870719A1] The housing (5) for the safety catch (1) is immovably mounted (11,12) on a horizontal plane. The forces from the housing are dampened and cushioned by an elastic plate (13) and are transmitted to structural parts of the lift cabin. The mounting of the housing consists of at least one cone (11) on one side and at least one preferably pointed conical hole (12) on the other side. The elastic plate on the side facing the housing is coated with a slide sheet possessing a low frictional value.
