Abstract (en)
A tower crane designed to be transported by a vehicle and automatically assembled has a folding jib (6) in three or more folding sections (7,8) and an intermediate element (10) connecting the first and second sections. The intermediate element has a pyramid-shaped rear end (15) with a rectangular base, articulated to the foot of the jib (7), and connected by its tip to the upper member (25) of the jib foot by a power cylinder (24). It also has a pyramid-shaped forward end (16), articulated to the second section (8) of the jib, and connected to the upper member by a second power cylinder, and a hinge between the two ends of the intermediate element.

La grue est équipée d'une flèche pliable (6) composée d'au moins trois éléments, un élément intermédiaire (10) de pliage reliant le pied de flèche (7) avec le deuxième élément de flèche (8). L'élément intermédiaire (10) est composé d'une partie arrière (15) et d'une partie avant (16), de forme pyramidale à base rectangulaire, articulées respectivement (en 20,30) au pied de flèche (7) et au deuxième élément de flèche (8), au niveau des membrures inférieures (21,31). Une charnière d'axe vertical (37) relie les parties arrière (15) et avant (16), l'axe (37) étant déporté latéralement. Des moyens sont prévus pour solidariser les parties arrière (15) et avant (16) en position de travail de la grue. <IMAGE>
