Abstract (en)
A main passage (8) delivers the main current of gas to the engine combustion chamber, and is controlled by a throttle (10, 40) with an adjusting mechanism. A further passage (12) also controlled by a throttle (44, 46) supplies an auxiliary gas current to the chamber. The same mechanism adjusts both throttles. The auxiliary passage can be arranged to branch off from the main one upstream of the main throttle, which can be spring-loaded shut, while the auxiliary throttle is spring-loaded open. A stop (46C) can be provided to limit the amount for which the auxiliary throttle can be opened. The main throttle can be formed by a butterfly (40) fixed to a rotary spindle (38), the latter also adjusting the auxiliary throttle.

Bei einem sogenannten Turbulenzsystem wird über einen Nebenkanal der Brennkraftmaschine Luft mit hoher Strömungsgeschwindigkeit zugeführt. Dies dient zur Verbesserung der Gemischbildung. Es ist erforderlich, die durch den Nebenkanal strömende Luft zu steuern. Bei der vorgeschlagenen Gasführungsanlage wird der durch den Drosselklappenkanal (34c) strömende Hauptkanalgasstrom (31) durch eine Drosselklappe (40) und der durch den Nebenkanal (12) strömende Nebenkanalgasstrom (32) durch ein Nebenkanalsteuerorgan (44, 46) gesteuert, wobei die Drosselklappe (40) und das Nebenkanalsteuerorgan (44, 46) gemeinsam mit dem einen Stellantrieb (42) verstellbar sind. Die Gasführungsanlage ist insbesondere für Brennkraftmaschinen von Kraftfahrzeugen vorgesehen. <IMAGE>
