Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0870924A2] The dosing pump (5) is used to extract materials, which especially have two components, from containers (1,2), and can be driven by a pneumatic motor (24). It has a piston (11) which is moved to and fro in a cylinder (9) by a connecting rod (12,13). Each end of the pump cylinder is connected to a suction pipe (3,4) and a discharge pipe (20,21). Each pipe has a check valve (15-18), and each valve works in the same direction of flow. The suction pipes are connected to one another upstream of their valves, and the discharge pipes are connected together downstream from their valves. The drive piston (29) of the motor is arranged in the axial extension of the connecting rod.
