Near the contact leaves (3, 4), the contact spring has an at least approximately G-shaped cross-section with a first roof panel (10) and a floor panel (12), one of the contact leaves (3, 4) extending in the direction of the socket from the end of each of these panels. The roof panel (10) and floor panel (12) are joined to each other by a first side panel. A second side panel (11) which is joined to the floor panel (12) extends out beyond the first roof panel (10) and is joined to a second roof panel which runs parallel to the first roof panel and in which a snap-in locking element for primary locking is fitted.
