[origin: EP0872289A2] The cassette roll stand for a duo roll pair with its bearing blocks (2, 3) guided in a cassette formed by two frames (1) is characterised by the following facts: a) the frames (1) are shaped as U-frames open at the top; b) their flanges (1a, 1b) have guideways (1d) for the bearing blocks (2) of the bottom roll; c) one flange (1b) of the pair is lengthened (1c) and has pivot bearings (5) for the bearing blocks (3) of the top roll; d) on the opposite side the bearing blocks of the top and bottom rolls are connected to one another with an elastic link (7); e) setting and measurements devices for the cassette roll stand are installed in its carrier structure
