Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0872298A2] The separating disc is made from a circular metal base body (12) with circumferential edge. A slit (16) is cut into the body starting from the circumferential edge and a cutting lining (14) preferably containing diamonds is fixed on a part of the circumferential edge so that it bridges the slit. The slit could be closed after applying the cutting lining by welding. The circular metal body has a bore (18) around the centre point whereby the slit is cut so that it extends from the circumferential edge to the bore.
