Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0872437A2] The device has a movable shaft (110) and a suction head (150) fitted thereon. The shaft has a device producing the vacuum whereby the vacuum is transferred to the suction head so that a part of the signature is seized by the suction head and moved relative to the signature stack in the container when the shaft is moved. The movable shaft is fitted rotatable on an axis and the vacuum is produced by a Venturi suction tube (160). The shaft has an axially aligned first passage (132) through which air is guided whereby the Venturi tube is located at least in part in the passage.
