Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0872617A2] The device has a preferably U-shaped basic body (1) for inserting the edge of the window pane (3). The side arms (11,12) of the basic body are joined by a base (10). At least one movably and/or swivel mounted locking element (2) is supported on one side on one of the side arms, and on the other side on the window pane's side surface, when the window pane is inserted into the gap in the basic body. The locking element is spring mounted towards the direction in which the window pane is inserted and or across the window pane's plane. The gap between the window pane and the locking element's support surface narrows towards the direction of the window pane's insertion and in the removal direction (300) of the pane.
