Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0872687A2] The headlamp has a light source (3) and a reflector (2) which forms a beam with a defined light distribution with a light/dark boundary from the light from the source. The reflector is an open air reflector producing a first light distribution when set in a first operation position. A second light distribution can be produced by varying the relative positions of the light source and reflector by a translational movement from the first operating position into a second operating position.
