The device has a front panel incorporating operating controls and display elements, provided by a front plate (9) and an associated holder for supporting the operating control switches and the display light elements. The holder is provided by a one-piece plastics moulding (7), with stiffening elements (11), defining switch guides at the rear of the front plate and coupled together via stiffening ribs (25).

Bekannt ist eine Bedien- und Anzeigevorrichtung für Haushaltsgeräte, wie z.B. Herde, mit einer Bedien- sowie Anzeigeelemente aufweisenden Frontblende mit einer Frontplatte und einer dahinter befestigten Halterungsanordnung, an der zumindest die Bedienelemente sowie Leuchtelemente der Anzeigeelemente gehaltert sind. Um den Aufbau- und Fertigungsaufwand der Bedien- und Anzeigevorrichtung zu verringern, ist die Halterungsanordnung als einteiliger Schalterträger aus Kunststoff ausgebildet, an dem die Festigkeit des Schalterträgers erhöhende Versteifungselemente vorgesehen sind. <IMAGE>
