[origin: WO9725501A1] A lock barrel with a core rotatable therein, having a keyway into which can be inserted a flat key having contour codes on its side surfaces co-operating with bodies which can move in core drillings and, if the codes match, make it possible to turn the barrel core. In said core there are a first drilling (2) for a body (3), a longitudinal aperture (4) on the outer periphery of the core in the same plane or staggered thereagainst for a locking component (8) and a second drilling (5) which opens into the first drilling (2) and the longitudinal aperture (4), second drilling in which there is a spring-loaded second body (7).
