[origin: EP0873702A1] The carousel unit comprises a rotatable shelf base with container system comprising a horizontal hollow centre part and pull-out drawer (10) which extends over the vertical axis of the shelf base. The centre part has a U-section support frame (4-6) with guide rails for the drawer. The arms of the U-shaped support frame are designed as walls integral with the side parts (2,3). The rails can be ball-mounted telescopic rails. The drawer can form a frame (10) for fitting several containers (13-15).
