Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0873726A1] The straw (1) has one end closed by a stopper (2) made in the form of a cylinder of a microporous polymer material, e.g. a solid fibre produced by continuous extrusion. The stopper is between 2-5 mm long, with a pre size of 0.001-10 mcm, and preferably 0.2-2 mcm. The polymer from which the stopper is made is selected from high density polyethylene, polyamides, nitrocellulose, polyesters, phenol-formol and perfluroalcoxy resins.
