Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0873835A2] The feeding and mixing system is for solid materials, e.g. slag, clinker, cement etc. It is designed to mix various materials in definite proportions. It includes two windlasses (10,11) which can raise buckets or skips (7,8) up a sloping track (9) and may discharge them into a mixer (3). There are valves (14) which are operated to control the flow of material into the skips.
