Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0873959A2] The web of material (12) is guided through a longitudinal cutter (16), and each of the part-webs is wound onto a core (18) formed especially by a sleeve. The reel (10) produced on the core is supported on at least one especially driven support roller (20). The hardness of the reel is affected by a tension-interrupt appliance (22) situated directly in front of the point (S) where the material web or parts thereof run onto a support roller each, and between the longitudinal cutter and the point (S). At least one roller (24) is provided which is spatially separated from the support roller and is also driven. The web-tension interrupt-appliance is divided into segments crosswise to the direction (L) in which the web travels.
