[origin: EP0874073A1] A wipe-cloth made from 100 per cent woven cellulose fibres has warp (2) and weft (4) fibres, and nap (6) fibres which extend sideways either side of the weave. The nap fibres are arrayed in lines forming capillary channels (12) between adjacent lines. Further claimed is that the cloth may be used as a gas filter and a cleaning agent for micro-organisms.
