Abstract (en)
Methods and apparatus for producing a cellulose or fibrous web such as a paper web comprise providing apparatus (70,72) for forming a nascent web, and a dewatering box or boxes (80) for removing liquid water from the web, by for example, passing hot moist air through the web. A pressure differential across the web of from 1 inHg to 15 inHg may be maintained during drying. The dried web may then be removed from the apparatus. <IMAGE>
