Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0874103A2] The skylight (10) has a base frame (12) and swing arms on a frame top cross-member (20). These support a hinging window with frame (16) at the centre (24) of the base frame. The arms support an intermediate frame (14) with bearings for the window-frame (16). When shut, the intermediate frame rests on a surface of the base frame parallel to that of the skylight, and encloses the window-frame. The internal dimensions of the base and intermediate frames are greater than the external ones of the window-frame. The length and width of the window-pane can be greater than the internal dimensions of the frame (16), the pane overlapping the bottom frame cross-member (34).
