Abstract (en)
The device comprises vertical ladders (2) with side members (5) and rungs, connected by a base structure and an adjustable platform (7). The platform is made up of a floor (8) with a raised surround, upright end supports (10) and rails (11,12,15,16). The uprights are attached to the floor of the platform by pivots (13) and connect with the rungs by means of hooks (14). A small additional platform (22) fits inside the main one and also connects with the rungs by hooks (26). By fitting the additional platform above the floor of the main one an operative can stand on it to adjust the main platform's height, lifting the ends of the main platform one at a time by means of curved bars (21) and re-fitting the hooks on other rungs.

Le dispositif concerne les échafaudages fixes ou roulants, dont la structure comprend des échelles verticales opposées (2), entre lesquelles sont montés des plateaux de travail ou d'accès accrochés par leurs extrémités aux barreaux (6) des échelles. Un plateau spécifique (7) est composé d'un plancher (8), de deux paires de bras (10) dirigés vers le haut, montés pivotants aux extrémités du plancher, et de lisses (15,16) reliant de façon articulée les bras (10) sur chaque côté du plateau, en ménageant un jeu, les bras (10) portant des crochets (14). Une tablette de montage (22), pourvue de crochets (26), est prévue pour prendre place au dessus d'une extrémité du plancher (8), et sert de plateforme auxiliaire pour un opérateur manipulant les bras pivotants (10) pour les déplacer et les accrocher sur un barreau d'échelle (6) supérieur ou inférieur. <IMAGE>
