Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0874335A1] The installation has a number of automatic vending machines (1), each having at least one cashbox (10), at least one coin return device (9) for providing change and a control processor (13) with a read/write memory (16) which is protected from mains failure. The vending machines are protected from fraud and systematic error by incorporating at least one transponder (21) in each machine coupled to an evaluation device (18) via an antenna provided by an inserted circuit board.
