Abstract (en)
The identification disc (1), especially for a timber post supporting telephone lines or power cables, is made preferably from plastic and is held in place by a nail (2) through a central hole in the disc. The disc is made in different colours to indicate the condition of the timber and the time interval before it next requires inspection, while the nail head (5) is marked to indicate the year of the last inspection. The disc can be made, for example, in two different colours of green to indicate that the post should be inspected again in 8 or 5 years, orange to indicate that the next inspection is needed in 3 years, while red indicates that the post should be replaced straight away.

Dispositif permettant l'identification visuelle de l'état d'une structure en bois, poteau notamment, après un contrôle de qualité se composant d'une part d'un support d'informations (1) et, d'autre part, d'un moyen de fixation (2) directement sur la structure contrôlée. Il se caractérise en ce que : le support d'informations se présente sous la forme de plaques réalisées dans une gamme de couleurs différentes et comportant en leur centre un orifice (3) pour le moyen de fixation ; le moyen de fixation (2) est constitué par un clou enfichable dans la structure contrôlée au travers de l'orifice (3) que comporte la plaque (1), la tête (5) dudit clou comportant sur sa face apparente, réalisée dans la masse, une mention permettant d'identifier au moins l'année au cours de laquelle a été effectué le contrôle ; au moins la face visible des plaques (1) comporte, également formée dans la masse, une mention indiquant soit que la structure contrôlée est dangereuse et doit être remplacée, soit le délai fixé pour un nouveau contrôle. <IMAGE>
