[origin: WO9725902A1] The plastic bristle (5) proposed consists of a core (6) of parallel plastic filaments (7) connected to each other, plus a plastic sheath (8) surrounding the core (6). At the brushing end (5a) of each bristle (5), the filaments (7) protrude out of the sheath (8). This is achieved by dressing the bristles (5) at the brushing end (5a), the length of the sheath (8) being reduced at the same time by this mechanically operation.
