[origin: DE19545986A1] The invention relates to a spray drier which has a drying container, at least one spraying member for conveying the material to be dried into the container and means for blowing a heated gas into the container in unidirectional or counter-flow to the falling, atomised, material to be dried. At least one section of the inner wall of the drying container is lined with an air-permeable textile (11) at a distance from the container wall (13). At least one outlet (14) for pressurised gas is arranged between the container wall (13) and the textile (11). The drier increases output and improves product quality in the production of washing and /or cleaning agents.
