Abstract (en)
The cigarette filter (12) is ventilated by openings (15) and has a coaxial filter element possessing a core (14) with core-wrapping, a casing (13) and a wrapping for it. The tube of tobacco (11) and the filter enable the smoke to flow through the filter core when the ventilation zone is open, and to flow through the casing when the ventilation openings are closed. The filter-core wrapping is air-tight and is preferably made of paper or cellulose acetate. The ratio of the cross-sectional surface of the core to the cross-sectional surface of the casing is less than one.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine ventilierte Filtercigarette (10,20) mit einem Tabakstrang (11,21), einer Umhüllung für den Tabakstrang und einem über Ventilationsöffnungen (15,25) ventilierten Filter (12,22) mit einem koaxialen Filterelement (13,14;23,24), das einen Filterkern (14), eine Umhüllung für den Filterkern, einen Filtermantel (13,23) und eine Umhüllung für den Filtermantel aufweist, bei der der Tabakstrang (11,21) und der Filter (12,22) bezüglich ihrer Materialspezifikationen und der Dimensionierung ihrer Einzelelemente so ausgestaltet sind, daß bei offener Ventilationszone der Rauch im wesentlichen durch den Filterkern und beim Abdecken der Ventilationsöffnungen (15,25) der Rauch der Cigarette zu einem wesentlichen Anteil durch den Filtermantel (13,23) des koaxialen Filterelementes strömt. <IMAGE>
