Abstract (en)
An applicator (1) is made with two application zones (2, 7), the first having a series of projections and recesses (5) designed to pick up the product, transfer it to the surface on which it is to be applied and deposit it there. The second zone is located adjacent to the first and is made at least partly from a material able to pump the product deeply and/or be made from natural or synthetic fibres. The second zone (7) preferably forms an angle of 2-45 degrees , more preferably 5-30 degrees with the axis (X) of the first zone, and is made e.g. in the form of a brush, a felt tip or a foam tip, preferably from natural or synthetic fibres, such as polyamide, polyester or nylon, or a foam made from polyurethane, polyethylene, PVC, polyether or natural or synthetic rubber. The first zone is preferably made from a thermoplastic such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polyacetal, polyurethane, PVC, polystyrene, from polyester or polyether bloc amides, polyvinyl, ethylene terpolymers, EPDM, SEBS-SIS, silicone, nitrile or butyl elastomers.

La présente demande concerne un applicateur (1), notamment pour produit de maquillage (P). Selon l'invention, l'applicateur comporte une première zone d'application (2) constituée d'un support d'axe X, présentant une pluralité de reliefs ou aspérités (5) sur au moins une partie de sa surface, lesdits reliefs ou aspérités étant aptes à retenir en surface du produit, le transporter et à le restituer sur une surface à traiter, le support ainsi que les reliefs ou aspérités qu'il comporte venant de moulage d'un matériau moulable, et une seconde zone d'application (7), adjacente à la première, et dont une extrémité est solidaire d'une première extrémité (3) de la première zone d'application (2), ladite seconde zone d'application (7) étant constituée au moins en partie, d'un matériau apte à pomper du produit en profondeur et/ou de fibres naturelles ou synthétiques. <IMAGE>
