[origin: EP0875178A2] Extension guides, each with two or more rails, are situated at each side of the insert, one rail being fixed to the latter and one to the body. A first guide has two rollers (170) solidly coupled by a shaft, and a second guide has a basic portion (130) for each roller and an extending portion (180) sliding between the retracted position and an outer one in which it forms an extension of the basic one. One guide is fixed to the body and the other travels with the insert. The extending portion travels in a straight line in relation to the basic one, and typically along it in the extension direction. It can have a driving face engaged by a dog so as to move with the insert during extension, and which protrudes into the path of the dog, while moving out of this path on reaching the extended position, typically caused by a pivoting movement of the extending portion.
