The seat is movably mounted opposite the side frames by articulated chains (11). The seat frame (9) forms the movable coupling of the chains and is connected to the locally fixed coupling members (13) by a first front guide rod plate (12) in the connection area of the scissor frames (6), and by a second guide rod plate (14) in the connecting area of the swivel fitments (7). The rear guide rod plates are attached near their ends facing the seat to levers (15) of the swivel fitments attached to the seat frame (9). An operating lever (17) engages on the scissor lever (16) of each scissor frame and a control lever (19) is attached to the front point of each chain (11). When the foot part (5) is extended the scissor frames (6) are blocked and only then can the operating levers of the swivel fitments be swivelled out of their basic position.

Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Sitzmöbel (1) mit einem zwischen zwei seitlichen Gestellteilen (2) angeordneten Sitz (3) und einer Rückenlehne (4). Der Sitz (3) ist zwischen den Gestellteilen (2) in Sitzlängsrichtung beweglich gelagert. Außerdem ist ein Fußteil (5) vorgesehen, welches von zwei Aufstellscheren (6) getragen und geführt wird. Die Rückenlehne (4) ist mit dem Sitz (3) über Schwenkbeschläge (7) verbunden und gegenüber dem Sitz um eine im hinteren Endbereich des Sitzes (3) liegende Achse (8) verschwenkbar. Die gesamte Verstellmechanik für das Fußteil (5), den Sitz (3) und die Rückenlehne (4) ist so ausgelegt, daß vor einer Verschwenkung der Rückenlehne (4) aus einer Grundstellung heraus zunächst das Fußteil (5) vollständig ausgefahren wird. <IMAGE>
