Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0875307A2] The bending press has parallel top and bottom clamping bars (5,4) and a pivoted bending cheek (6). Bars and bending cheek are formed form profiled rails with free projecting ends. At least one has first connectors at one end for direct connection to another machine. A second connector is located in the back of the press away from bars and cheek. This is longitudinally adjustable for alignment of two connected machines. The first connectors comprise a bracket (14) bridging the joint, fastened by screws to the bending cheek. The second connector is a traction/connection rod (20) fastened to a similar rod on the second machine.
