[origin: EP0875378A1] The two-part clamp has the one part fixed to the cylinder and the other part movably mounted in at least the radial direction of the cylinder. An actuator opens and clamps and is positioned on the movable top or bottom part (2,3). Components transmit clamping force onto the movable top or bottom part. At least one component in the form of a shaft (7) possesses sprung elasticity effective when clamping force builds up. The shaft is supported on bearings (6) between each pair of which is at least one cam co-operating with a roller.
