[origin: EP0875549A2] Lighter comprises a container filled with a combustible liquid to produce a flame. The liquid is a mixture of a fuel and a coloured material made of a metal compound which gives the flame its colour. The coloured material is an organometallic compound or a mixture of such compounds and is directly and completely soluble in the fuel.
