Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0875642A2] The projecting, rear-ventilated facade construction has plates (3) with or without head rabbet (4) on the upper plate edge (5). On the lower plate edge (8) is a drip rabbet (6) and a foot rabbet (7). The facade plates by means of holders (9) are fixable to the vertical and horizontal profiles (2). The foot rabbet (7) of the upper facade plates (10) is engaged from below by an upwardly open U-shaped part (15) of the plate holder (9). The head rabbet (4) or the upper edge of the lower facade plates (12) is engaged from above by a downwardly open U-shaped part (17). The connecting rib (22) of the downwardly open U-shaped part (17) is displaced in relation the connecting rib (21) of the upwardly open U-shaped part in the direction of the horizontal depth and/or in the direction of the vertical height of the facade construction or is completely or partly identical to it.
