[origin: EP0875911A2] The key field has all of the individual keys (2) formed from a one-piece elastic plastics mat (1), so that the keys are enclosed on all sides to prevent ingress of water or dust. Each of the keys has a guide element (9) on its underside, engaging a counter-guide for guiding the key movement for operation of a switch (5) to which the counter-guide is attached.
