Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0876081A2] A tubular heating body, with an incorporated overheating safety system, has an outer connection bolt (8) with a diameter which is smaller than the diameter of the overheating safety unit (7). A shrouding (11), with electrical insulation, fits tightly at the wall of the overheating safety unit (7) and partly round the outer connection bolt (8). The interior of the mantle tube is filled with an electrical insulation casting mass (12) between the two sleeves (5, 9) and round the safety unit (7), the outer connection bolt (8) and the insulation shrouding (11). The mass (12) is a mixture of "Araldite" (RTM; epoxy resin) and corundum dust.
