[origin: WO9726099A1] The invention relates to an oscillator for a continuous casting die with a supporting structure (10), an oscillating lever (12) which has a fork-shaped first lever arm (30) and a opposing second lever arm (32). Said oscillating lever (12) is mounted by means of first turning joints (26', 26'') to oscillate about an axis (28) in the supporting structure. Said oscillator also comprises a lifting device (14) connected to the second lever arm (32) of the oscillating lever (12). According to the invention, the oscillator comprises a carrying cage (18) for suspension of a continuous casting die (20), said carrying cage (18) being connected by way of second turning joints (40', 40'') to the fork-shaped first lever arm (30) of the oscillating lever (12).
