[origin: EP0876858A2] The method uses a multi-sectional internal high pressure forming tool with sealing system between tool and semi-finished part (5). The end of the section to be formed is fitted between a one piece inner and outer holder of an axial die (4). The upper and lower parts (1,2) of the forming tool are closed. The die is moved forward, the semi-finished part is centred, and the end of the section to be formed engages sealing on the end face (8) between the die holders. During advancement of the die, the forming process begins due to the effect of the internal pressure and the force of the axial cylinder. The process is continued until the finished component (5') is positioned on the inner wall of the forming tool.
