[origin: EP0876984A2] A holder has at least one support plate (1) and is used for holding several yarn packages (2). It has mounting means each of which can be connected to a package (2). The plate (1) is equipped with at least two sets of mounting means for an alternating mounting of yarn packages (2) of different sizes. The position of the means in each set is adapted to the relevant package size. At least one of the mounting means is a circular or cylindrical perforation (3a,3b,3c) provided in the carrier plate (1).
