Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0876989A1] The rotating derrick comprises a pole (1) and a jib (2). The jib can articulate around a spindle (21) perpendicular to the pole. This enables the jib to pivot between a folded position parallel to and in contact with the pole and an unfolded position above the pole. In the jib unfolded position it has an angle between a right-angle and 180<o> relative to the pole because of a vertical part (27) connecting the two symmetrical webs of the articulation on which the unfolded jib rest. The jib and the pole are connected by a strut (6).
