Abstract (en)
A high-density powdered detergent composition which has a bulk density of 0.6 to 1.2 g/ml and which comprises 0.5 to 30 % by weight of (a) an aspartic acid diacetic acid salt, 5 to 45 % by weight of (b) a nonionic surfactant having an HLB value of 10.5 to 15.0, 0.5 to 15 % by weight of (c) an anionic surfactant and 1 to 30 % by weight of (d) an aluminosilicate, the weight ratio of the component (b) to the component (c) lying between 99 : 1 and 70 : 30, and each percentage being based on the total weight of the composition. This composition contains both an organic builder excellent in biodegradability and an inorganic builder, and exhibits high detergency.
