[origin: EP0877107A2] To move bobbins, a group of bobbins together with bobbin carriers are brought into an initial workstation, and the carriers remain with the bobbins while being filled with wound material. The filled bobbins, with their carriers, are moved to the textile machines as required. Also claimed is an assembly with bobbin carriers (6,60,61,63-68) moved with the bobbin groups (31,310,311) into the initial workstation (A1) and remain at the drawing station (2) while the bobbins (3) are filled.
