[origin: EP0877142A2] The sealing strip is extruded in one process using an elastic material for the main support and a foam material for the seal. The strip has a backing (120) of elastic material and with shaped grip lips (11,12) at the bottom. The top section holds the hollow profile foam strip which is clad in an outer coating of elastic material. The foam and the hollow space have a large compression facility to cover the sealing gaps. The lower part of the foam is attached to the support strip by a section (25) which thickens towards the support strip. The support strip has a bump strop strip (221) on the inside of the hollow space. Both materials are extruded together.
