Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0877163A1] The fuel injection pump is for internal combustion engines, and especially diesel engines. It has a valve assembly (12) at each connection opening (8) at the suction side. A valve spring (18) presses the valve body (16) towards the interior (3) against a valve seat (13). Each valve assembly has at least one throttle bypass (22,23), which is always open.
