Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0877344A1] The security fence consists of a trellis of conductors formed to allow signalling any attempt at breaking through by severing one of the sections of the fence. The fence is such that each trellis (20) consists of two grids (30,40) of the same shape which are assembled one on top of the other such that the mesh of the elements of one grid coincide with the mesh of the other grid elements. The grids are electrically isolated from each other and are held at specific voltage by electrical supply cables (50,50'). Each grid comprises vertical cables (31,41) and horizontal cables (32,42,42a) which are welded to the horizontal cables. The surfaces which do not have the welded horizontal cables are the surfaces which face each other.
