Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0877449A2] The adaptor (2) has mutually isolated contact elements (19,28) which can be brought into contact with metal profiles (3,4) on the current rail for tapping current. One contact element is an inner contact body (19) isolated from the rest of the adaptor and connected to a current conductor (21) fed out of the adaptor in an insulated manner. A metal housing (7) has an opening (9) clad with an insulating part (10) for holding the current rails. Housing arms (25,26) on both sides of the opening are connected to a metal connector (28) forming the other contact element, bridging the opening and able to contact one metal profile (3). The contact body (19) in contact with the other metal profile (4) is arranged inside the insulating part.
