[origin: WO9728577A1] A splicing connector (2) for power line conductors comprises a tubular body (4) having a plurality of ribs (28) extending longitudinally along a bottom portion of the body. The ribs (28) are transversely cut, for example by screw machining operation, with grooves (32) such that individual teeth (34) are provided. The depth of the grooves can be modified depending on the purpose of the connector, for example, either for insulation piercing of insulative conductors, of for clamping of bare conductor ends.
