Abstract (en)
A dispensing apparatus 2 comprises an inclined chute 4 which comprises a channel cross section plastics member of a suitable size to accommodate a product 6 to be dispensed. A carriage 8 incorporating two rollers 20 is provided upstream of the product and is arranged to travel within the chute thereby to urge the product downwardly towards front end 10 of the chute so that, if the forward-most item 6a is removed from the chute, the remaining items 6 are shunted forward so that item 6b becomes the forward-most item. <IMAGE>
